Project Overview

Arpu Plus is a 1500 sqm, four-story headquarters in Maadi designed for a fast-paced, high-profile music industry client as Ruby and Tamer Hosny. With a tight 3-month renovation timeline that includes the the holy month Ramadan, our mission was to turn a segmented, outdated structure into a modern, elegant, and efficient workspace that would reflect Arpu’s influential presence and accommodate their growing team of 200 employees. The result is a space that is sleek, dynamic, and tailored for both performance and impression—where function meets flair.

Problem

The primary challenge was time. With only three months to fully transform an outdated multi-story building into a contemporary headquarters, efficiency and precision were key. The existing setup was closed-off, dark, and heavily partitioned, which limited airflow and natural light. Given Arpu’s status in the entertainment world—regularly hosting celebrities and collaborators—there was also a pressing need to create an interior that was not only functional but visually striking and undeniably presentable.

Design Approach

We began by gutting the interior—removing all the unnecessary walls to introduce light, air, and openness throughout the building. This created a natural foundation for an airy, plant-friendly layout. Space planning was completely reimagined to fit 200 employees comfortably while balancing function and atmosphere.

Each floor was designed with distinct zones: workstation areas, cozy floor lounges featuring leather swings for laptop use, and circular high tables with live trees planted at their centers for casual co-working moments. We also integrated a fully equipped cafeteria, a rooftop event setup, a playroom with PlayStation and babyfoot, and dedicated prayer and washing areas at the back of the building to respect and support daily routines.

To manage privacy and focus, especially for those working near corridor spaces, natural plants were incorporated cleverly into the workstation layouts—creating built-in green dividers that visually calm and acoustically buffer the workspace.

Functionality Redefined

From the moment you enter Arpu’s new headquarters, there’s a tangible sense of elegance and intentionality. The design balances sophistication with comfort—every corner is polished yet warm. Whether it's a visiting celebrity or a new hire, the reaction is often the same: ""You’d never guess this is in Cairo—it feels like a high-end corporate space in London or New York."

High-end finishes, a palette of modern neutrals, the strategic use of indoor plants, and seamless transitions between work and rest zones give the entire space a luxurious, timeless feel. Employees can grab a coffee, swing with their laptop, or collaborate beneath a central tree—all within an environment that supports productivity and inspiration.

Arpu is now more than an office—it's a statement. A refined headquarters that reflects the brand's influence in the entertainment world while prioritizing the people who bring its vision to life.
