Project Overview
Link Data Center, previously known as Link Dot Net, is a pioneer in the world of data banks and network solutions in Egypt. As the company continued to grow, they required a complete transformation of two major locations: a private 800 sqm villa in Maadi, to serve as their new headquarters, and a series of network-driven renovations for their data centers in Dokki. The mission was to deliver a seamless, high-performance workspace that reflects their leadership in the tech world—on a tight schedule and within a fixed budget.
Problem
The project presented two significant challenges. First, the Maadi villa needed to be fully transformed in just three months—from concept design to final furnishing—to accommodate over 100 employees, complete with designated workspaces, prayer and wash areas, meeting zones, and communal lounges. Second, the existing data centers in Dokki required careful planning and integration of modern network infrastructure, without disrupting their core operations.
Design Approach and Network Solutions
For the data centers, our team worked closely with IT consultants to recommend and implement the required structural and network optimizations. These included advanced cooling solutions, raised flooring for cable management, high-speed fiber-ready conduit routing, and enhanced fire safety systems. Every aspect of the renovation was planned with scalability and uptime in mind, ensuring Link Data Center’s core service areas remained robust and future-proof.
Meanwhile, the Maadi villa underwent a full-scale transformation. What was once a quiet, outdated residence became a functional, contemporary headquarters. We handled every stage—from architectural design, contractor supervision, and finishing, to custom furnishings, branding, and the integration of indoor and outdoor greenery. Despite the compressed timeline, every element was delivered with precision and care.
Elevated Employee Experience, Perfected
One of the most remarkable features of the new headquarters is the rooftop transformation. Previously neglected and unused, the roof is now a warm and inviting retreat—an Italian-inspired cafeteria where employees gather for coffee breaks, small celebrations, or quiet work moments. Framed by blooming fuchsia bougainvillea, high tables, and a designated smoking area, the space quickly became a favorite among staff. The vibe was so charming that the cafeteria was even used as a filming location for TV commercials—a true testament to the space’s visual appeal and versatility.
The main entrance of the villa also plays a starring role in the overall impression of the headquarters. With polished shiny marble flooring and elegant alfresco plant arrangements, the entryway now offers a striking, sophisticated welcome—setting the tone for clients and employees alike.
Every corner of the office—from the modern workstations to the prayer and washing areas—was optimized for flow, comfort, and functionality, while maintaining the polished look expected from a market leader.
